Chinese Firm Builds Thousands of Luxury Villas on 500 Hectares Land in Kiri Sakor

Union Development Group Co, Ltd on February 20, 2019 has ground break the construction of 2,704 villas on 571 hectares of land in Kiri Sakor, according to the Department of Information of the General Department of Military Service.

This villa project is part of the company’s massive development project covering a total of 45,000 hectares of Kiri Sakor district and Botum Sakor in Koh Kong with total investment capital of US$4 billion. This massive project includes the construction of the airport, borey, port, the golf court, the luxury resort, tourism complex, and housing services.

Samdech Pechey Sena, Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, welcomed the project stating that “the project of the 100,000 tones deep sea port was approved for construction and that the fourth international airport in Cambodia has also been built”.

“The construction will bridge Cambodia with other Asian countries and other major regions closer,” said Samdech Pechey Sena, Tea Banh.
